On every journey, especially when hiking, one can have good days and bad days. Some days you need to take a breather and rest. During lent, my commitment these 40 days is to spend the next 40 days in the word, the old testament, the OT. There is so much to share, too much sometimes to take in and write. I am a complete history buff, and my goal is to share a little history as we journey. My daughter is in town from school, and I am going to spend the next few hours of the evening spending time with her and my husband. But oh, I have so much to share. The biggest thing I have to share today is , ” This man sold out to the devil”, in every sense of the word. Tomorrow I will explain. I do not plan to dumb things down. Prepare yourself and prepare your hearts. Read everything you can to find out more about King Ahaz and the Assyrian conquest. Start with 2 Kings 16 and 2 Chronicles 28, and skip over to Isaiah 7, 8 and 9. Our friend Isaiah, he tried to lead King Ahaz in the right direction, but he was not having it any other way, but his own way. Catch up with me tomorrow. We have so much to learn.
Catch up with me and read 2 kings 16:1-9, 2 chronicles 28:1-15. And Isaiah chapters 7-9.
